Dell W3706MC Review

The Dell W3706MC is a high definition LCD Television with a resolution of 1366 x 768. As with the Dell plasma TVs, the speakers are detachable. A fantastic idea, so you can reposition the sound to the specification of the room. The speakers are 15 W a piece.

This 37 inch has a silver casing with a black border surrounding the LCD screen. The TV has plenty of connections including 2 HDMI, 3 RCA and 2 component video connections. Do you want a 37”computer monitor? The LCD also has a VGA cable port, therefore connect away.

The high definition picture looks very satisfactory. No signs of pixilation when high action sports is displayed. The issues I’m finding is with the black areas. Not as detailed as some consumers want, but still decent. The picture image is a little washed out while watching the TV in angles of 95 degrees.

Conclusion

Bang for your buck, this TV has a decent picture and beautiful styling. The prices of Dell’s are very competitive, that you may find web specials on the Dell site. The multitude of connections for the TV adds expandability for other components. We love the 2 HDMI inputs and the VGA port for hooking up computers.
