Samsung LN-S4092D Review
The Samsung LN-S4092D is a slim and elegant Samsung 40" LCD HDTV that would look beautiful in any room. With features like a 5000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, wider viewing angles, a Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp, and DNIe technology, there's no way that you could go wrong with the Samsung LN-S4092D.
The LCD screen is encased in a very class black piano finish. The only complaint about the Samsung LN-S4092D's casing is that there can be a slight bit of glare on the piano finish even though there is none on the actual LCD screen.
Other features of the Samsung LN-S4092D are:
- Built-in digital tuner (ATSC)
- Hidden bottom speakers
- CCFL-Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp
- VESA compatible
- Side AV inputs
- 2 HDMI inputs
- Viewing Angle of 178 Degrees
- Displays 12.8 Billion colors
- Swivel stand
Conclusion
The Samsung LN-S4092D produces an amazing picture. The quality of the LN-S4092D's picture is almost on par with the Sony Bravia KSL-40XBR1 - but at more than a $500 price difference, the Samsung LN-S4092D seems like a better deal to the average consumer. Samsung LCDs are very aggressive in pricing and have many models to accomodate any consumer. My belief is that anyone who is looking towards an LCD TV should definately take a look at the Samsung LN-S4092D, or any of the other Samsung LCD TVs. If 40-inches is not big enough for you, Samsung also has the 46-inche model, the Samsung LN-S4692D which is an amazing LCD TV.
