Words to describe this 57 inch LCD model… Enormous, beautiful, expensive. The Samsung LN-5796D is an expensive alternative to buying a huge screen. I think if you are huge hi-tech enthusiast or you have big bucks to spend, this TV to buy. It will impress anyone who lays eyes on this model.
This Samsung 57 inch LCD is the first 57 inch model that I have seen any manufacturer has made. Imagine hooking up your PC to this 57inch LCD monster. To find something equivalent to this size, you would have jump over to the plasma technology, which are cheaper in price.
This Samsung LN-S5796D casing is similar to the S5296 and S4796, just larger. It is a clean rectangular shape with black higher gloss. The speakers are hidden on the bottom of the screen.

Most likely, you will see the prices of 57 inch reduced by 30% in a years time. As seen with last year’s prices, the 42 inch plasma screens prices are today’s price of a 50 inch display. Once they have found more efficient ways of building displays, the prices will benefit the consumer.
