Sony Bravia KDL-52V4100, KDL-46V4100, KDL-40V4100 Review
The Sony V4100 Series is the third series from the top in Sony's LCD TV fleet. This line comes in the 40 (KDL-40V4100), 46 (KD-46V4100) and 52 (KDL-52V4100) inch sizes. The Sony V4100 series is the no-nonsense flat panel TV and comes without the 120hz motion flow. The 120hz motion was mainly introduced in 2007 to provide a better picture quality when it comes to action or sports scene. In order to provide the consumer with more choice, Sony has decided to release the V4100 series without this feature; thus giving it a lower price tag. Some people will not notice the difference with the 120hz motion flow, and therefore will be satisfied with the Sony V4100 series.
The Sony KDL V4100 offers a black shiny bezel with a silver bar on the bottom of the LCD TV. Some of the major specifications of the KDL4100 series are:
- 3D Interface graphic user interface
- 1080P resolution
- 4 HDMI and 2 Component inputs
- Bravia Engine 2 digital signal processing
The Sony V4100 series is a more budgeted version than the top of the line Z4100 series. If LCD backlighting is not a big selling point, and 120 hz motion flow is not an issue with you, then the W4100 is what you need.
