Sony Bravia KDL-52EX700, KDL-60EX700, KDL-46EX700, KDL-40EX700, KDL-32EX700 Review
The Sony KDL-46EX700 comes equipped with all of the features that are expected from such a high-end model. It features great resolution and a high-quality video display, more inputs than most consumers should know what to do with, and exciting new technologies that make the viewing experience of this set enjoyable. The KDL-46EX700 also provides services that give consumers access to an unprecedented amount of media through apps from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, and Video on Demand.
The KDL-46EX700’s HD 1080p resolution is the best-quality resolution currently available for consumer models. It allows for a fulfilling experience of Blu-ray disc media, thanks to the KDL-46EX700’s 1920 x 1080 wide screen display panel. This is also a great set to use for a Playstation 3 game console, as this set really lets you get the most out of any Blu-ray media, whether it be films or videogames.
Motionflow 120hz technology gives the KDL-46EX700 twice the frame rate of the standard, which is 60hz. This technology also applies Image Blur Reduction, which makes the picture quality of the KDL-46EX700 much more realistic and clear, especially during scenes featuring quick takes and rapid motion. An Ambient Sensor also adjusts screen brightness and color settings depending on the amount of light detected in the room.
Two key features of the KDL-46EX700 make it a great consideration for the buyer who is concerned with reducing household energy use. The Presence Sensor installed in each KDL-46EX700 detects whether or not there is anyone currently in the room. If no individuals are detected, the display turns off while leaving the audio on, for those who enjoy having the sounds of the television set in the background while they are in other rooms. If there is no detection of activity within 30 minutes of switching to sound-only mode, the KDL-46EX700 will automatically turn itself off.
The Energy Saving Switch is the second feature. Standby power consumption is completely eliminated by this switch, which prevents the KDL-46EX700 from drawing power even when turned off. One would normally have to completely unplug their set from the power source in order to do this with a typical set; a step far too inconvenient for most people to bother with.

The Sony V4100 series is a more budgeted version than the top of the line Z4100 series. If LCD backlighting is not a big selling point, and 120 hz motion flow is not an issue with you, then the W4100 is what you need.
