Sony Bravia KLS40XBR1 Review

The Sony Bravia KLS40XBR1 is Sony’s top LCD model.  This Sony produces a very clear picture.  The Sony Bravia is not as smooth as watching action or sports on a plasma TV, but it is bridging the gap.  The TV displays a resolution of 1366 x 768.  The speakers are located on the bottom on the unit.  This unit is more expensive unit because it has a more features than the  KLVS40A10 such as:

  1. Integrated digital ATSC tuner to receiver broadcast over the air
  2. Wega Engine that process video signals to a realistic image
  3. Wide color Gamu WCG-CCFL back light for accurate color reproduction
  4. Better audio power (13W x 2)

The screen is surrounded by a black casing that produces an illusion that the TV screen is bigger than its 40 inch size. This monitor has only one HDMI connector.

Conclusion

If you a have the extra money to spend on a top end LCD screen, look no farther than this 40 inch beauty.  The extra options compared to the KLVS40A10 provides better video signaling for imaging, more power  in the sound system and  a slick black casing.  Sony KDLV40XBR1 imprints almost a fashion statement to your room because of Sony’s reputation of being the leader in the LCD technology.
