Toshiba 42LX196 Review

Let the 1080P war start. Toshiba has aggressive priced a product for enthusiast who do want more bang for their buck. The Toshiba 42LX196 is called the REGZA. Another claim to fame is Pixelpure 12 bit digital process. This processor is one of fastest processors out in the market, that suppose give a smoother video picture (especially when it comes to action scenes or sports).
The styling of the television is not too exciting. It looks like a plain casing with a dull black bezel surrounding the picture. You can check out the model here on Toshiba’s website.

The Toshiba 42LX196 provides a great bang for your buck when it comes to providing features to the price. Upon viewing the images, they are good but not as great as the new XBR2. Good colors but the blacks aren’t best compared to the other models on the market. This model is a good alternative to the Westinghouse or Scepter out there. Overall it is a good value.
