Budget for Your LCD TV

A plasma screen TV provides a smoother video picture than a LCD.  A consumer should consider a LCD TV if they will be using the monitor for video games. The video game consoles produce a burn in rate to a TV. Ever turn off a TV, and you continue to see a picture embedded on the screen?  That is considered a burn in.  The great thing about the LCD TVs is that the technology does not produce a burn in.  Keep in mind, plasma TVs do produce a little burn in.  Is it big deal?  If you want to prolong the life of the monitor if you are constantly playing games, then a LCD TV is your choice.

Some of the accessories you may consider are:

  • High definition TV converter
  • Wall mounts
  • Cables, such as HDMI cables
  • Game consoles
  • The new HD-DVD or Blu Ray player

Why buy a new LCD TV if you are not using it to its fullest enjoyment; therefore it should be consideration for your budget.
